1:55pm – 2:30pm
In a merger & acquisition environment, leadership will often introduce disparate communities of employees as “complementary” when what they really are is “opposite.” This makes for a complicated culture with small tribes of leaders, often guiding their people away from the new company’s goals.
In this session, we’ll discuss ways to find common, compatible ground using both new and very old media & techniques, including how to:
• Use technology to your advantage — as a tool, not a strategy
• Create a nimble communications strategy that adapts to a rapidly changing environment and isn’t married to process
• Eschew communication for communication’s sake – when more is not better
• Become a coach to senior leadership – It’s a murky view from the ivory tower
