WORKSHOP LEADER: Ms. Roanne Levitt, is the Founder and CEO of Perceive Solutions Inc., a company specializing in text-independent voice biometrics. Prior to Perceive Solutions, Roanne held several senior positions at leading technology companies including Softimage/Microsoft and Engenuity Technologies Inc (formerly TSX:EGY). As VP of Research and Development for Engenuity, her vision, strategy and execution were instrumental, leading to the corporation’s acquisition by Canadian simulation leader CAE Inc. Under her leadership, Roanne and her team earned several awards including the prestigious Frost & Sullivan 2006 Product Innovation of the Year Award.  Ms. Levitt holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science with a major in Mathematics from McGill University and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Concordia University.

Mr. Hamilton is a recognized industry authority and subject matter expert on biometric technology. He is serving a sixth term as Chairman and President of the International Biometrics & Identification Association, a Washington, D.C.-based non-profit trade association that represents the collective interests of the biometrics and identity management technology industry. He is a frequent speaker at conferences and symposiums related to biometrics and identity management. He also serves as Chairman of The Biometric Foundation, a non-profit research and education organization.
