Kristin Duquaine

Kristin Duquaine has over 20 years of nursing experience with a passion for preventative and wellness healthcare program development. Kristin earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1993 and went on to earn a dual Master of Science in Nursing and Master of Healthcare Administration in 2008. In her previous role as Director of Healthy 100 Kids and Specialty Programs at Florida Hospital for Children she has designed, implemented and directed a variety of programs including those addressing childhood obesity and diabetes as well as many other outpatient and community programs.

Kristin became Director of Health and Performance for Florida Hospital in 2011 focusing on employee health and well-being for its greater than 22,000 employees. Florida Hospital began this initiative in partnership with Johnson and Johnson with the goal of establishing a strong culture of health. Kristin’s passion for her work in health and wellness stems from a diagnosis of type 1 diabetes at the age of 13. Her diagnosis was a strong influence in her chosen career as a nurse and as a diabetes educator and was instrumental in forming her ultimate career and personal goal which is to play a major role in helping others to make positive strides in their health journey.

Kristin balances her professional career with a passion for running, yoga, working in her garden, taking care of 2 dogs and raising her teen son.
