James Temple

James Temple is the Director of Corporate Responsibility at PwC and has a dual role leading the PwC Canada Foundation.

He’s considered one of Canada’s leading voices on Corporate Responsibility and speaks internationally about how businesses and communities can work together to use their skills, voices and relationships to become catalysts for change.

James has been featured in articles for the Globe and Mail, Forbes.com, Strategy Magazine and Canadian Business. He was named a 2012 winner in the Global CSR Challenge through the Centre for Sustainability and Excellence and was an inaugural Notable.ca Young Professional of the Year.

His speaking engagements have included TEDxCalgary, the World Volunteer Forum, and the International Corporate Citizenship Conference. James shares his time on the not-for-profit committee of the Risk Oversight and Governance Board for CPA Canada and is Chair for the Association of Corporate Grantmakers.

James holds a degree in Geographic Analysis from Ryerson University and has a Certificate in Advertising and Media from the Canadian Marketing Association.
