Eric Schulties

Eric Schulties is the Vice President and Chief Information Officer for ITxM. He joined the organization in August 2008 and is responsible for working with operational leadership to determine and implement the IT strategy to meet the needs of the business, maintain a cost effective and highly available IT infrastructure and application portfolio, evaluate and implement new technologies to improve the operations of the organization and fuel future growth, and oversee the IT staff, budget and capital expenditures. Eric has a Six Sigma Black Belt and has 20 years experience in the healthcare industry and has experience in IT strategic planning; business case development; clinical systems planning; technology design, delivery and implementation; and, business process assessments, redesign, and change management.

Prior to joining ITxM, Eric was a Senior Associate with Aspen Advisors, Director for a Fortune 20 healthcare technology and services company (McKesson Corp.), Sr. Manager for a healthcare software vendor (Cerner Corp), Solutions Manager for a global high tech technology organization (Marconi PLC), and Manager in the Life Sciences Practice for a global consulting firm (Deloitte & Touch LLP). His clients have included academic medical centers, multi-facility Integrated Delivery Systems, community hospitals, publically traded physician organizations, medical group practices, national health care insurance companies, and provider sponsored managed care organizations.

Eric holds a B.S. in Biochemistry from Grove City College, a Masters of Health Administration and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh.
