Danny Gutknecht is CEO and co-founder of Pathways, a technology enabled service that helps businesses uncover and communicate “Essence” for deeper engagement and more effective talent acquisition. Considered a thought leader and innovator Pathways works with leading organizations like University of Michigan, Expedia, B/E Aerospace and T2 Venture Creation.
Danny is the author of the upcoming book Essence: The Secret of Employee Engagement (Comperio, 2013) which explains how companies can understand the invisible infrastructure of their own culture and tap the power of their “essence” to engage employees and recruits and customers. The book is scheduled to be released in February 2104.
Danny also serves as Dean and “Essence Mining Guru” of the Global Innovation Summit a groundbreaking gathering of over 800 innovation leaders from every continent building innovation ecosystems. He is a member/contributor of Bootstrap Austin a community of entrepreneurs.
Previously, Danny has served as CEO of Inhouse Assist, C2P Group, and Executive Vice President of MHA Group/InTech (acquired by AMN) and Triangle Marketing Agencies.
He has also served as Co-Chair on Greater Phoenix Economic Council (GPEC) where he co-authored state legislation.
