Results from Government Analytics Pioneers: How to Use Data in New Ways to Drive Improved Program Outcomes – PARTNERSHIP FOR PUBLIC SERVICE

10:00am – 10:35am

The Partnership for Public Service, together with IBM, has issued three reports on how federal agencies are using data to better inform decision-making. As a result, these agencies have improved program outcomes, built a culture of performance measurement, and strengthened relationships with important stakeholders. Federal departments and agencies, for example, tackle the quality of health care, improve air safety, protect public health, and identify global famine issues before they happen by taking advantage of data in new and different ways. The focus of the keynote presentation will be on:

  • Important elements for using data to drive decisions including myth-busters
  • Success factors that drive a performance culture
  • Insights from federal analytics pioneers that can inform your analytics program
